Aside from all the music and hundreds of vendors, we have a number of groups excited to provide activities for families attending our event. As they provide us with information we'll update it here!

Tacoma Arts Collective
Tacoma Artist Collective and Destiny City Music Collective are 501(c)3 organizations dedicated to bringing art and music experiences to the area.
This year's Art on the Ave plans include a mobile art gallery for displaying visual art by Collective members and community members, a small stage featuring music by Kareem Kandi, Ken Jacobsen and students and other eclectic local musicians, giant origami butterflies for people to paint, and a musical instrument petting zoo so kids can get hands on experience playing a variety of actual musical instruments.
Located in front of Salon Di Stile
There will be a community paint by number mural at Salon di Stile during Art on the Ave! Don't be scared to check it out!
Helping host this amazing mural is artist Amelia Kaiser who is based in Tacoma, Washington, and studied Studio Arts at Pacific Lutheran University. Her diversity is her greatest creative strength – working in watercolor, pen and ink, and acrylic paint to produce commissions, original works, live paintings, murals and more.
City Central Church
City Central Church will be hosting a Kids Carnival in their parking lot and the recently vacated parking lot of Crescent Moon. There will be face painting, sidewalk chalk, a bounce house, and other fun activities.
